The mosquito-proof 955 micron stainless steel screen flips open on a simple, spring-loaded hinge for super-Easy-Cleaning and maintenance. Simply unlatch the screen, brush or hose off any dirt and return it to the closed position.

Installation
New or upgrading from a non-glued Mozzie Stoppa Original
- Select an installation point for your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean. As it will require regular maintenance, we recommend installing your Mozzie-Stoppa Easy-Clean in a position that allows for easy access and cleaning. We recommend installing it directly into the overflow outlet of your tank.
- Remove the non-glued Mozzie Stoppa Original from the overflow outlet and overflow pipe and discard.
- If necessary, measure and remove a section of pipe leaving a gap between your overflow outlet and overflow pipe of approximately 25mm for your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean, ensuring all cut edges are clean and smooth.
- Position your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean so the screen opens upward. Use solvent weld glue to install the Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean into the gap you made in Step 3, between your overflow outlet and overflow pipe.
Upgrading from a glued Mozzie Stoppa Original or overflow pipe
- Measure and remove a section of pipe leaving a gap between your overflow outlet and overflow pipe of approximately 25mm for your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean, ensuring all cut edges are clean and smooth.
- Carefully remove the left-over pipe section or Mozzie Stoppa Original by cutting out and removing from the overflow outlet.
- Position your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean so the screen opens upward. Use solvent weld glue to install the Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean into the gap you made in Step 1, between your overflow outlet and overflow pipe.

Maintenance
We recommend regularly cleaning your Mozzie Stoppa Original or Easy-Clean to prevent the mosquito proof screen from becoming clogged or blocked with sediments and debris.
Your Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean is designed to make maintenance and cleaning easy. Unlatch the hinged screen and hose or brush it off to clean. Replace the screen immediately after cleaning by pressing it down to firmly relatch in place so it continues to form a barrier against mosquitoes, frogs and pests.

Where do I install my Mozzie Stoppa?
You can use your Mozzie Stoppa to protect any pipe opening and create a mosquito- and pest-proof barrier. Mozzie Stoppas are typically installed to rainwater tank overflow outlet pipework to help mosquito-proof your tank. To learn more about installation, visit the Support page for your chosen product.
Can I upgrade my Mozzie Stoppa Original to a Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean?
Yes. Simply remove your existing Mozzie Stoppa and replace it with an Easy-Clean model. (For full installation instructions, see the Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean Support page.)
My tank is overflowing at the inlet rather than the outlet. What should I do?
- Check that your tank screen is free from debris, ie. leaves, sediment
- Your tank outlet may be restricted by a blocked Mozzie Stoppa or another obstruction.
- Check your overflow outlet for the presence of an obstruction and remove.
- Alternately, the level of your tank overflow may sit above the base of your tank inlet.
- Check that the outlet pipe is equal to or greater than the combind capacity of the pipe feeding your tank inlet
- If a Mozzie Stoppa is installed, remove, inspect and clean if necessary before reinstalling it at the outlet or replacing with a Mozzie Stoppa Easy-Clean.
If your inlet/overflow issue persists, remove your tank screen and check for floating debris on the water surface. Floating debris such as sworf from the tank installation process’ may be blocking the Mozzie Stoppa during overflow and drifting away from the overflow when overflow has stopped.
